Chubbuck Weather is Located approximately 1 mile north of I-86 and just off of US-91 in Chubbuck, Idaho.

The Weather Station is a Davis Vantage Pro2 wireless weather station comprising of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for the highest accuracy possible.

The data is collected every 2 1/2 seconds using Weather Display Software on a dedicated Computer running Windows XP Professional with a Celeron CPU running at 2.00 GHZ with 1 MHZ of Ram and 240 Gigabytes of storage. Because of a need for data exchanges fairly constantly, we run a full time data link via DSL connection to contact our ISP and web host service.

The information from the Weather Station is compliled continually and the website is updated every 15 minutes. We also exchange data with NOAA, NWS, Wonderground, WeatherForYou, AnythingWeather, MesoWest and a host of others on a continuous and timely manner.
